Who we are.

History

In 2013, John Venezia, current President, had a vision and with the help of many volunteers the first year of music fest was born.  His vision started as a conversation with a co-worker in 2012 about a festival in Hamburg.

To date EA Musicfest has proudly donated close to One Million Dollars to local charities and our community.

Every year has been a success with the help and support of additional board members, fellow EA residents, old friends, new friends, and music lovers alike which we could not operate without!

We would also like to thank the long list of volunteers who make this event happen time and time again – East Aurora Rocks!

East Aurora Musicfest, Inc. (EAMF) is a 501c3 non-profit company whose mission is to produce a community music event to benefit local non-profit organizations focusing on our community youth and music, promote a vibrant village full of live music and provide an outlet for local musicians to share their talents and keep live music alive!

Other Events we Sponsor

• 2020 Thank You Heroes – We donated $250, twice a week, to participating restaurants to cover take-out food for front-line workers who just didn’t have the time or energy to cook when they got home from their shifts.  This lasted 12 weeks–through the height of the pandemic.
• 2021 Summer Music Series – Sponsored 7 events sponsored music for seven events, drawing business to local bars and restaurants throughout the summer, many of which were no charge to the public.
• Fan Appreciation Party and Movie – in 2019 we sponsor our first fan appreciation movie at the Historic East Aurora Theater showing the Beatles in “A Hard Days Night.”  Second time around in 2020 it was “Greese” Great time was had by all!  We hope to more of these in the future.
• 2020 Musicfest Stimulus / Thank-You Initiative, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic we donated money to several local restaurants to offer our tireless frontline workers a meal and a break.
• 2021 Summer Music Series – A gift to our fans from the EA Musicfest Board for your continued support to us and some amazing charities.
