Buffalo's The Last Waltz Band

The Band was a Canadian-American roots rock group formed in Toronto in 1968 after performing as Bob Dylan's backing band. The Band’s pioneering blend of traditional country, folk, old-time string band, blues, and rock music brought them critical acclaim in the late 1960s and ’70s and served as a template for Americana music.
The Last Waltz was The Band's farewell concert. Last November the Sportsmen's Americana Music Foundation presented a sold-out theatrical presentation of "The Last Waltz" at Babeville in downtown Buffalo.
The Buffalo Music Coalition and The East Aurora Music Festival is proud to present Buffalo's The Last Waltz Band comprised of five of the most talented, prestigious and well-known musicians in WNY. Doug Yeomans is Robbie Robertson, Jim Whitford is Rick Danko, Ron Davis is Garth Hudson, Jimmy Ehinger is Richard Manuel and Pete Holguin is Levon Helm.
